This event will have two major speakers at this, our Second Annual Event:
Trina Olson, PFund Executive Director—who will talk about the PFund Scholarship funds (for youth and seniors) that were initiated by Lyle Rossman. The youth scholarship has raised over $485,000.
Angel Benes is the PFund 2014 Lyle Rossman Memorial Scholarship Award Recipient. The scholarship award recognizes an outstanding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or allied student for their courage, community leadership and service and academic achievement who is a nontraditional age student or over the age of 65 or studying LGBT aging issues.
In addition, we will have a light dinner with refreshments for all who attend. If you plan to attend, please send us an email at swanx009@umn.edu so that we have adequate food and refreshments on hand. If you would like to bring something to share, let us know as well. If you have already donated this year, we would still like to have you attend. And if you want to come at the last minute, please do so!
If you are unable to attend, you can give a tax deductible donation by:
(1) Sending a check in the enclosed envelope made out to PFund–Rossman Memorial Scholarship
(2) Donating online at www.pfundonline.org/scholarships.html, put “Rossman Memorial Scholarship” in the dedication line. This can be a single gift, or you can set up a monthly gift for the scholarship.
