Tom Cranz  and I have teamed up on several home remodeling projects for the past nine years. Tom specializes in custom made cabinets, furniture, custom doors,  fixtures and molding. He has been in business since 1984. Shown here is a Fireplace Wrap and Mantle made from Red Oak. Together we have collaborated on a great many bathroom remodeling projects where we do all the tile while Tom creates custom cabinetry. Tom can be reached at: (619) 517-9916.

Bathroom Remodeling

February 10, 2012 by admin

We have been grateful this winter for all the tile, bathroom and kitchen remodeling work that has been coming our way!  We have recently completed projects in Carmel Valley, Spring Valley, La Mesa, Hillcrest, and Downtown.  Our adventures will soon take us back to Carmel Valley again for the two and a half bathroom remodel in a single home.

Carmel Valley Project

June 25, 2011 by admin

Women in Construction newly completed bathroom in Carmel ValleyWe just completed two bathrooms, which began as only bathroom floors.  After finding subfloor damage the project morphed into two whole bathrooms. The job was a big challenge, but we learned a lot about India’s customs, people and food from our new friends / customers.  Good luck with the baby!  (due on the 4th of July).

So Nice to Hear, Thank You!!

May 4, 2011 by admin

“Denise, Both Marilyn and I would like to thank you and Molly for the outstanding tile work you recently did at our home. We were so impressed with the tile job you did years ago on our upstairs and downstairs floors we just had to have you back to do our guest bathroom downstairs and our master bath upstairs. I think the best complement I can give you is that you and Molly are more meticulous than Marilyn and I. Both you and Molly had wonderful suggestions that helped us make “on the job decisions” that were always in our best interest. You always treated our house as if it was your own. And most importantly, your can do attitude and your happy and caring demeanor were a real blessing to us when our home was “under construction.” You and Molly, are the best. We continue to recommend you exclusively to our friends when they ask “who did your tile,

Denise you are an artist with tile. The next time we need tile work done at our home there is no question who we will call, Denise and Molly of Women in Construction.”

Warmest Regards,

Carl & Marilyn Geddes

Check out our just completed project

April 24, 2011 by admin

This was previously an  8 foot wall seperating a tub surround that we turned into a Pony Wall and Shower.  The tile is 13 x 13 porcelain with a 2 x 2 feature stripe with  two corner shelves and grab bars.

We had to replace the entire subfloor and rebuild the bathroom from the floor up including all the plumbing.  All said the project took 3 weeks to completion.
