I’ve come up to Portland for a week. And on Sunday I found time to hike Silver Falls. There are 10 waterfalls along this hike and some are quite impressive. Click on this photo to see a small gallery.

Wow, I would have expected to see a lot more water coming over this time of year. That’s a little scary.
Next time you hit the Portland area, try to make it up to the Opal Creek Wilderness area, it is by far my favorite stomping grounds and probably only another 45 min drive west.
