I’ve had my IPad 3G on order for a few weeks now. I was reasonable cool with waiting. But now that so many people are talking about their IPads, I am finding it really hard to wait. There is part of me that wants to run out to the Apple store and pick up a non 3G device today. But of course I won’t. Unfortunately, while fixating on the IPad my photography is taking a back seat. I’m too busy reading every article and listening to every Podcast to spend any time working on my photos. Which is a shame, since one of the main uses I tell myself I will use is to have the IPad as a portfolio of my photography.
Salton Sea Gallery
It’s been close to a month since my visit to the Salton Sea. Since then I’ve gone to Portland, and the Columbia Gorge. It seemed like things kept getting in the way of publishing the two galleries. Now in one weekend I’m publishing both Galleries.
I think you’ll see that the delay in the Salton Sea Gallery wasn’t because the place had no photo possibilities. In fact, I found it to be an amazing place, and I can’t wait to go back.
Columbia Gorge Gallery
After a week of the real world getting in the way, I’ve finally published a small gallery of shots taken in the Columbia Gorge. These were taken in the Eastern Gorge, at the Tom McCall Preserve, near the Memaloose Overlook, and along the way back to Portland.
1ST GORGE SHOT
OK,, I’ve been struggling for a week to find time to get the photos I took in the Columbia Gorge last Saturday done. A Twitter friend is headed to the eastern Gorge tomorrow, so I decided I really need to publish at least one photo. Hope you enjoy…
Silver Falls
San Diego Backcountry Pano
Clouds have been amazing the last few days. Yesterday and today at lunch I had to get out and take some pictures.
Red Hill Salton Sea
I didn’t have enough time at Red Hill. I need to go back and really spend some time there.
Salton Sea Pano
This is a 12 shot HDR Pano (36 photos) taken at the Salton Sea. I had to try running in Photoshop 4 different times to get the photo the way that I like it. I was getting a weird bow in the horizon line. I ended up having to straighten out all 12 photos in Lightroom, then loading to Photoshop. But I think the results were worth it. What do you think?
Salton Sea sunrises are amazing
I haven’t gotten very far in processing photos from my Salton Sea adventure yet, but thought that I would go ahead and publish one of my sunrise photos.
Salton Sea Sunrise
This morning I’m leaving for the Salton Sea. So I thought that I would publish a photo from the only other time that I was at the Salton Sea.
