he current featured gallery is from from the third leg of our southwest tour. Monument Valley is the quintessential wild west, including homage to John Wayne at the Goulding Trading Post. This is Navajo country and we enjoyed learning about native culture. Do plan on hiring a guide if you want to see the main sites.

Finally, I have finished the photos from around Page, Arizona. Literally thousands to choose from. Lower Antelope Canyon has been prone to some serious flash flooding in the past decades and we were lucky to find a lull in the storms as it has been on my bucket list for years. It didn't disappoint.

This photo is from the popular viewpoint overlooking the Colorado River, Horseshoe Bend. This is one photo in the Page series that I am slowly but surely working my way through.

n the second stop on our southwest trip we spent time in the area around Page and Lake Powell. Later that day we visited two sites along Highway 89N. These photos were taken as we explored Hanging Gardens with its labyrinth of eroded sandstone and expansive views of the lake along with Bucktank Draw and Birthday Arch . This was a day that started out rainy, giving way to imposing clouds.
When we got home, we couldn't find the memory card for that day. In case I had deleted the photos, I downloaded software to pull deleted files off cards. After lots of work...

We started our camping/photography tour of Northern Arizona and Southern Utah with these photos, taken at the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Though it wasn't perfect for camping, the stormy weather was the perfect backdrop for exciting photos.

Here is the first rollout from our two week hiking/camping photo adventure in the Southwest. This photo was taken using my Infrared camera, at the best possible time for IR Photography, midday, typically not a good time for regular photography. This pano is a compilation of four images. We stopped here at Imperial Sand Dunes on our long drive to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. More to come. Stay tuned!
f you look closely you can see where the bridge was damaged by a rock fall. By doing a panorama, even though I didn't have a wide angle lense, I was able to take in the entire scene.
I love the lighting on overcast days, especially when occasional light filters through the clouds and makes the moss on the trees light up. In this video I'm demonstrating an up and down panorama at Multnomah Falls in Oregon. I will add the photos from our outing when I return next week, and hopefully have a nice panorama to show off.
Christmas is right around the corner!!
Our good friend of many years, Kris Andersen, was the recipient of a Randy Stetz Image canvas wrap. Here is the grand unveiling held yesterday before heading out to spend the day at 'A Taste of North Park'. Remember that the proceeds from this and all Randy Stetz Images sales purchased through the Bradley Eidsvold Fundraiser website will go to the fundraiser through the end of this year. Brad is a nephew of Ron Martin, who was an '84 Fridley High School classmate of Nathan's. Brad has a degenerative bone disease and is unable to work. He requires...

These are the last of the shots from our long weekend in New Mexico. Most of these were taken on our last day during the drive to the airport along the Turquoise Trail and at various points in Santa Fe. Santa Fe is known for it's blue doors. I was thrilled to capture some, both blue and otherwise. I just created a Doors Gallery and some of these may have to go in there.
Oh, a quick shout out to Casa Chimayo Restaurant, where the blue corn enchiladas were muy spicy, but to die for.
